THE PATH STARTS WITH ONE HASH
Your virtual mining lab.
Explore mining statistics without a physical miner.
REAL HARDWARE / LOCAL CONNECTION
Connect your Bitaxe from your computer.
Your miner needs a dashboard on the same network. Start the local app, then select Real hardware there to add your miner.
- Connect your Bitaxe to your Wi-Fi and configure your chosen pool in AxeOS.
- In this project’s folder on your computer, run
python3 bitaxe.py. - Open the local dashboard, choose Real hardware, and enter the miner’s IP address or hostname.
Start the app first. Hardware readings appear after a successful connection. Real BTC rewards are tracked by your pool; demo balances never transfer.
When your Bitaxe arrives · setup guide
- Power up your Bitaxe using its supplied power adapter.
- Follow its setup guide to connect it to the same local network as this computer.
- Open AxeOS using the miner's IP address. Configure your chosen pool's host, port, and worker or public BTC payout address using the pool's instructions.
- Select Real hardware here and add the miner's IP address or hostname.
- Check for a live hash rate and accepted shares. Use Open AxeOS on its card to return to the miner's settings.
Mining runs on the Bitaxe independently of this dashboard. Real BTC rewards and payouts are recorded by your pool; the simulated balance remains separate. Never enter a wallet seed phrase or private key.
Training balance only · 10 demo sats per accepted share. No real BTC or withdrawals.

Alerts: temperature ≥ 70°C, rejected shares ≥ 5% after 20 total shares, firmware overheat protection, or connection failure. Checked on refresh.
Your mining workspace is ready.

Adjust virtual output and share targets. Watch hash rate, power, and training shares change without buying hardware.
Try the simulator ↗Understand the costs.
Use your electricity tariff and the device’s power draw to budget running costs before choosing a miner.
Plan electricity costs ↗Make it your own.
When you have a Bitaxe, configure it in AxeOS and run this dashboard locally to see device readings.
Read the setup guide ↗Does this website mine Bitcoin?
The simulator generates training statistics in your browser. Real mining requires dedicated hardware. A connected Bitaxe mines independently; this dashboard reads its status.
Can I withdraw the demo balance?
No. Demo satoshis are fictional training counters. Real mining rewards are tracked and paid by your chosen pool under its own rules.
Why does hardware monitoring run locally?
Your Bitaxe lives on your private network. Run python3 bitaxe.py on a computer on the same network and open http://127.0.0.1:8080 to connect it.
Where are my settings stored?
Preferences stay in this browser. Use Back up settings to move them to another browser. Demo balance, shares, elapsed time, work, energy, and pause state are saved automatically. Return using this browser to continue. Time while the page is closed or hidden adds no demo rewards. Charts reset on reload. Clearing browser data removes saved progress; Use Back up progress and Restore progress above to move your demo to another browser. Settings backups contain preferences only.
